The history of history maker is no limited to some one’s own age and senility. It is the enthusiasm that comes from the mind and heart is going to be proved by Mr. Min Bahadur Sherchan’s determination and devotion to climb Mt. Everest at the age of 77 from Nepal. It is a matter of great pleasure for Nepal and Diaspora Nepali to know that Mr. Sherchan‘s mission to climb Mt. Everest in May, 2008 will break the previous records of climbing Mt. Everest held by the oldest man from Japan and get his own name into the Guinness book of world records. We have made an advisory committee and executive committee to materialize Mr. Sherchan’s feat making journey into the top of Mt. Everest. On behalf of all of us involved in this great mission, I would like to request all Nepalese living in Nepal and their Diaspora abroad to cooperate financially, morally and physically so that Mr. Sherchan’s morale will be boosted and he would be successful to put his feet on the top of Mt. Everest.
Therefore, I would like to appeal all of you to go through the motto: Help yourself and Help for the Pride of Your own Country Nepal.
