Mount Everest ::
Nepal's Mount Everest (8850 meters or29035 ft) is the tallest Mountain on the earth.The Summit is called Sagarmatha in Nepal. The highest mountain was named Everest by Sir Andrew Waugh, the British Surveyor-general of India in honour of his predecessor Sir George Everest. The majestic Mt. Everest was ultimately conquered by Tenzing Norgay Sherpa hailing from Nepal along with his New Zealander counterpart Edmund Hillary at 11:30 AM on May 29, 1953 via the South Col Route.
